Classroom Expectations:
Our School follows as system called Bomber Pride. The following are the rules to be followed in the classroom.
Positive Attitude: Students are expected to keep trying when things are difficult.
Respect: Students are expected to treat others with courtesy and consideration.
Integrity: Students are expected to take responsibility for their actions and work.
Discipline: Students are expected to stay on task and finish their work on time.
Excellence: Students are expected to take pride in their actions and their work.
Bus Notes:
Please make sure that if your child is riding a different bus that s/he has a note from home. Without a bus note your child will be placed on his/her usual bus to guarantee their safety. If you are picking up your child at the end of the day, s/he needs a note stating that you will pick them up. If there is no note, they will have to ride their usual bus. Bus notes should go directly to Jan in the office. They should include the bus your child is riding and my name.
Homework:
Third graders have a take home folder. One pocket is labeled “keep home” and the other “bring back”. Papers in the "keep home" side are to stay at home. Papers in the "bring back" side are papers that need attention and must be returned to school the next day. Please go through the homework folder with your child each day and make sure all homework is completed on time and returned to school.
Attendance:
Attendance at school is very important in your child’s education. In case of an absence please call Jan (320-396-3316) in the office as soon as possible. I prefer to send the missed work home the day of the absence. If there are no siblings at this building to send homework home with, it would be appreciated if you came to pick up the absent work or give a name of someone I can send it home with.
